In a deal that went under the radar Wednesday; the New Orleans Hornets acquired forward Carl Landry from the Sacramento Kings in exchange for guard Marcus Thornton.

The acquisition of Landry adds depth behind David West.  Landry has proven to be a consistant scorer and rebounder, even without ideal size.  As for Thornton, he had seen decreased minutes, after a breakout rookie season least year.  In Sacramento, Thornton will have the opportunity to prove that he was not merely a one hit wonder.
