Bruins Parade Through Boston With Cup

The Boston Bruins celebrated their first Stanley Cup Championship in 39 years with a rolling rally through Boston on Duck Boats. An estimated 1 million fans came out to celebrate and get a glimpse of their Bruins and the Stanley Cup. Enjoy some of the photos from the rolling rally.

Canucked!

The Vancouver Canucks blanked the Boston Bruins 1-0 last night to win game 5 of the Stanley Cup Finals. With the win the Canucks took a 3-2 series lead and are one win away from capturing Lord Stanley’s Cup. The series returns to Boston for game 6 Monday night.

Boston Beatdown

The Boston Bruins have evened the Stanley Cup Finals at 2 games a piece with a 4-0 victory over the Vancouver Canucks wednesday night. Boston goalie Tim Thomas stopped all 37 shots he faced en route to his third shutout of the playoffs. The series returns to Vancouver for game 5 friday night.

Only One

The Vancouver Canucks defeated the Boston Bruins 1-0 in game one of the Stanley Cup Finals Wednesday.  The game was a stalemate until Vancouver’s Raffi Torres was able to beat Boston Goalie Tim Thomas for the game’s only goal with 18 seconds remaining in the 3rd period.  The Bruins will attempt to tie the series in game 2 friday night.

Deja Vu?

The Boston Bruins won game three of their second round series with the Philadelphia Flyers 5-1, and took a 3-0 series lead. Everyone in Boston remembers what happened last year against the Flyers in the same round. Bruins fans are hoping that this isn’t a case of deja vu…Fear the Bear!!
