B Diddy Baron Davis has been dealt to No Man’s Land! Early thursday morning the Los Angeles Clippers agreed to send point guard Baron Davis, and a 2011 first round pick to the woeful Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for point guard Moe Williams and forward Jamario Moon.
Davis is due to make $28 million over the next two seasons, so dealing him frees up more cap space to make a splash in free agency 2012.
I can’t imagine Davis being too pleased about being traded from his hometown of LA to Cleveland. Also, Davis and rookie sensation Blake Griffin had built up a nice repore with one another. The Clippers receive a younger point guard in Moe Williams and become even more athletic with the addition of Jamario Moon.
