In a protest aimed towards second year coach John Keuster, four Pistons veterans did not show up for practice earlier today.
Tracy McGrady, Richard Hamilton, Tayshaun Prince, and Chris Wilcox were all absent from a team shootaround this morning. The 21-38 Pistons are a team in disarray and this latest incident may spell doom for the future of John Keuster. Hamilton and Keuster have been battling all season, which has cemented Hamilton with a permanent seat on the bench. McGrady and Wilcox are both putting up poor numbers with limited minutes. A team spokesperson said that McGrady and Prince were both sick, and that Hamilton and Wilcox missed a team bus. Austin Daye and Rodney Stuckey also missed a team bus, but showed up at the end of the shootaround . With that said, a source close to the team said that the players missed the shootaround in protest of Keuster.
