It is game over for the Miami Heat. Teams are no longer playing around with the Heat, as the San Antonio Spurs dismantled the Heat 125-95.
The game was never in doubt, with the Spurs racing out to a 41-18 lead. Miami was held to only 8 first quarter points. San Antonio was led by Manu Ginobili’s 20 points. Matt Bonner made 6 of the franchise high 17 threes. Miami has now lost 4 games in a row and fall to 1-8 against the top 5 teams in the league.
The Heat will surely remember the Alamo, as it may have been where the Heat died. As Tim Duncan muttered in the first quarter, “game over!”
