The Miami Heat have won 4 of their last 5, including a 103-98 victory of the Denver Nuggets sunday afternoon. Although they won the game, the Heat may have lost the their starting point guard.
Mario Chalmers went down midway through the first quarter with a knee injury. The injury was serious enough that he had to carried off the court. Initial word was that Chalmers had a sprained knee, but an MRI has been scheduled for tomorrow.
Behind Chalmers on the depth chart is Mike Bibby and Eddie House. Both players are older and haven’t seen many minutes of late. Miami fans better hope that the injury to Chalmers isn’t as serious as it looked, because that would be a huge loss.
