Series tied 3-3
Everybody hands go up….and they stay there! The Memphis Grizzlies came from behind to win game 6 and force a game 7 sunday afternoon in Oklahoma City. Zach Randolph added to his already impressive postseason run by scoring 30 points, and pulling down 13 rebounds. O.J. Mayo got the starting nod over Sam Young and scored 16 points. Russell Westbrook scored 27 points in a losing effort. Shane Battier did a great job holding Kevin Durant to 11 points on 3-14 shooting from the field. The winner of sunday’s game 7 will advance to face the Dallas Mavericks in the Western Conference Finals.
Good job, Memphis. Way to defend home-court. That being said, OKC will win Sunday at home; KD is going to have more than 12 points.
We finally got a Game 7 in the playoffs; now we’re going to hear the misleading stat about home teams winning Game Seven 75% or 80% of the time. They’re at home because they have the better record and are probably the better team anyway.
