Dal leads 1-0
One of the greats, Dirk Nowitzki put on an epic performance in game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, in which the Dallas Mavericks won. In one of the most efficient games by any player Nowtizki scored 48 points on 12-15 shooting and set a NBA record for consecutive free throws made in a game, going 24 for 24. Dirk toyed with Serge Ibaka all night and made his first 9 shot attempts. Jose Juan Barea was great off the bench scoring 21 points. Nowitzki’s historic performance overshadowed Kevin Durant’s 40-point game for the Thunder. The Thunder will look to even the series in game 2 on thursday night.
