DWayne Wade and his Miami Heat are three wins away from another NBA Title after defeating the Dallas Mavericks in game one of the NBA Finals.
After trailing by 8 points midway through the third quarter, the Miami Heat went on 19-4 run to separate themselves from the Mavericks. DWayne Wade scored 22 points, 15 coming in the second half. He also had 10 rebounds and 6 assists. LeBron James was the Heat’s high scorer with 24 points, and added 9 rebounds and 5 rebounds. Chris Bosh pitched in with 19 points and 9 rebounds. Dirk Nowitzki led Dallas with 27 points and Shawn Marion had a good game with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
The Dallas Mavericks will look to even the series in game 2 thursday night.
