New Jersey Nets All-Star point guard Deron Williams has agreed to play in Turkey during the NBA lockout. Williams agreed to a 1-year $5 million deal with Beskitas of Turkey. The deal is said to have an automatic out clause, so that Williams can rejoin the Nets whenever the lockout ends.
Beskitas is the same club that signed Allen Iverson last season. The club also has a deal in place with Atlanta Hawks center Zaza Pachulia.
