After battling yet another foot injury, Houston Rockets Center Yao Ming has decided to retire from the NBA. Yao spent 9 seasons in the NBA and was a 8-time All-Star. During his All-Star years Yao was arguably the best Center in the game and averaged 19 points and 9.2 rebounds a game.
Not only was he larger than life on the court but he was even bigger off the court. Yao was one of the most popular basketball players in the world, and is a icon in his native China. Yao was and continues to be a humanitarian as he gives his time, money, and heart to China and other causes.
Only time will tell if Yao gets his call to the hall, but he deserves it!
Hall????? ARE you kidding me?????
