World Champs

Congratulations to the St. Louis Cardinals for winning the 2011 World Series!!  This was the 11th World Series championship in Cardinals history.

The St. Louis Cardinals completed one of the greatest runs in baseball history after defeating the Texas Rangers 6-2 in game 7 of the World Series.  David Freese was named World Series MVP.  Freese was also the NLCS MVP.
