La Russa Leaves on Top

Three days after winning his third World Series, St. Louis Cardinals manager Tony La Russa announced his retirement. La Russa spent 33 years as a big league manager with the Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Cardinals. La Russa managed the Cardinals for the past 16 seasons, winning two World Series titles.
