Legendary Penn State Head Football Coach Joe Paterno announced that he plans to retire at the end of the season.

Paterno’s announcement comes after former assistant coach Jerry Sandusky was charged with over 40 counts of molesting 8 boys between 1994 and 2009. Paterno was being heavily criticized for not doing all he could about an allegation of child sex abuse against Sandusky.
