(5-7) Chargers 38 Jaguars 14 (3-9)
The best remedy for the San Diego Chargers was the Jacksonville Jaguars, as the Chargers easily dispatched of the Jags 38-14.
Philip Rivers had his best game in a while completing 22 of 28 passes for 294 yards and 3 touchdowns. Ryan Mathews recorded his second 100-yard game of the season, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown. Malcolm Floyd caught 4 balls, one for a touchdown. Vincent Jackson had 4 receptions for 72 yards and a touchdown.
The lone bright spot for Jacksonville was once again Maurice Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew rushed for 90 yards and caught 6 passes for 91 yards and a touchdown.
Too bad that Rivers and the Chargers can’t play the Jags every Monday Night…
