For the first time in tournament history two 15 seeds knocked off 2 seeds.

Before yesterday a 15 seed had beaten a 2 seed only four times in NCAA Tournament history. Yesterday, in a matter of hours Norfolk State and Lehigh each accomplished the fete. Norfolk State relied heavily on the post game of Kyle O’Quinn to shock Missouri 86-84. Lehigh point guard C.J. McCollum scorched Duke for 30 points, 6 rebounds, and 6 assists en route to a 75-70 victory.

Although we are still waiting for a 16 seed to defeat a 1 seed, yesterday was a monumental day in NCAA Tournament history. This is why they call it March Madness!
