SA Wins 4-0

The San Antonio Spurs completed their domination of the Utah Jazz with 87-81 game 4 victory to sweep the Jazz out of the playoffs. Manu Ginobili led a balanced Spurs attack with 17 points. Al Jefferson had 26 points and 10 rebounds in a losing effort. The Spurs will now wait to play the winner of the Clippers/Grizzlies series in the second round.

Clippers 101 Grizzlies 97 OT
LAC 3-1

In what was supposed to be a close series has become all Clippers. The Clippers took a commanding 3-1 series lead with a thrilling 101-97 overtime victory over the Memphis Grizzlies in game 4. It was Blake Griffin’s defining moment last night as he fought threw the Grizzlies’ physical play and scored 30 huge points. Chris Paul once again filled up the stat sheet with 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists. Mike Conley Jr. led the Grizzlies with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 8 assists. Rudy Gay pitched in 23 points in a losing effort. The Grizzlies will look to stave off elimination in game 5 back in Memphis.
