The Miami Heat have been crowned the 2012 NBA Champions as they defeated the Oklahoma City Thunder 121-106 in game 5 of the NBA Finals. It is the second championship in franchise history. The title is the first in the career of Finals MVP LeBron James. James sealed the deal on his first title with a triple-double in game 5.
