The San Francisco Giants stars shined bright Tuesday night. Third baseman Pablo Sandoval got the scoring started with a base-loaded triple to clear the bases. Giants pitcher Matt Cain got the win, throwing two shutout innings to start the game. San Francisco outfielder Melky Cabrera was named All-Star Game MVP after a 2 for 3 performance with a homer and 2 rbi’s.
