NL Shutout AL to Win Third Straight

The National League blanked the American League 8-0 to win the 2012 MLB All-Star Game. It is the third win in a row for the NL. The National League will once again have home field advantage in the World Series,

The San Francisco Giants stars shined bright Tuesday night. Third baseman Pablo Sandoval got the scoring started with a base-loaded triple to clear the bases. Giants pitcher Matt Cain got the win, throwing two shutout innings to start the game. San Francisco outfielder Melky Cabrera was named All-Star Game MVP after a 2 for 3 performance with a homer and 2 rbi’s.
