Down 0-2 and seemingly headed for a long offseason, the San Francisco Giants won three straight to advance to the NLCS. The Giants eliminated the Cincinnati Reds with a 6-4 win in game 5 of their NLDS series. Buster Posey hit a grand slam to propel the Giants.
The Giants will await the winner of the Nationals/Cardinals do or die game 5.
