2013 NFL Playoffs: Texans Hold On, Packers Romp

In the first game of the day the Houston Texans notched their first playoff victory in franchise history with a 19-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. The Texans rode the shoulders of Arian Foster to victory. Foster finished with 140 yards rushing, with a td and 34 receiving yards.

The Texans’ reward, is a trip back to Foxboro to take on the New England Patriots next week.

In the nightcap, the Green Bay Packers easily defeated the Minnesota Vikings 24-10. Green Bay pressures Minnesota backup QB Joe Webb early and often, while also holding Adrian Peterson under 100 yards rushing. Clay Matthews led the Green Bay defense with 2 sacks, 1 forced fumble, and a fumble recovery. Aaron Rodgers led the offense with 274 passing yards and a touchdown.

The Packers will head to San Francisco next weekend to take on the 49ers.
