Kemba Walker and his UConn Huskies are one win away from a National Title. UConn defeated Kentucky in the Final Four 56-55.
In a tightly contested second half, UConn hung on to beat Kentucky. Kemba Walker led Connecticut with 18 points and 7 assists on a gimpy right ankle. Jeremy Lamb added 12 points and 8 rebounds. Freshman point guard Shabazz Napier played well and made two game clinching free throws with 2 seconds left.
Kentucky lost the game at the free throw line. Kentucky was an embarrassing 4-12 from the line. Brandon Knight finished with 17 points, and 8 rebounds and Doron Lamb finished with 13 points.
The National Title Game has gone to the dogs as the UConn Huskies will now face the Butler Bulldogs for the National Championship monday night.
