Mia leads 2-1
On one dirty take down by Dwayne Wade in the third quarter, all of Boston held their collective breathes. As Wade was tossing Rajon Rondo to the ground Rondo attempted to break his fall with his left arm and it bent awkwardly. Rondo lay on the ground in pain for a few minutes before being helped back into the locker room. It seemed as if Rondo would be lost for the playoffs and the Celts would be going down with him.
That was until Rajon ‘Willis Reed’ Rondo came back into the game after suffering a dislocated elbow. His return sparked the team as Rondo made plays with a dead arm. The Celtics are also back in the series as they went on to blowout the Heat in game 3. Miami still holds a 2-1 series advantage.
Kevin Garnett had a powerful game with 28 points and 18 rebounds. Paul Pierce had a bounce back game, scoring 27 points. Wade led Miami with 23 points.
