Thunder 105 Grizzlies 90
OKC win 4-3

The roll of the Thunder proved to be louder than the roar of the Grizzly as the Oklahoma City Thunder ended the wonderful run of the Memphis Grizzlies in game 7 sunday afternoon. As predicted, Kevin Durant had a huge game scoring 39 points for the Thunder. Russell Westbrook had his best overall game, recording a triple-double with 14 points, 10 rebounds, and 14 assists. Zach Randolph ended his playoff run with 17 points for the Grizzlies in a losing effort. OKC now advances to the Western Conference Finals where they will meet the Dallas Mavericks.

  1. Good blog you got going here man! Westbrook in game 7 finally showed some flashes of maybe changing his ways. It will be interesting to see if he can continue his ways as a more conventional point guard rather than the score first point guard that he has shown himself to be throughout the year and much of the playoffs. All the praise that Westbrook has received has seem to have gotten to his head and I wonder if game 7 was a sign of things to come. He’s got some good scorers around him. That #35 dude seems pretty decent. However, he is undeniably an incredibly exciting player and is part of what makes the Thunder such a fun team to watch. He is deadly in transition and if he gets that pull-up to me more consistent he could become one of the NBA’s best along with Durant. Also, you think you could check out my blog cuz I’d love to hear what you have to say http://chrisross91.wordpress.com/2011/05/16/hierarchy-established/
