New York Yankees closer and future Hall of Famer Mariano Rivera registered his 600th career save tuesday night. They Yanks held on for a 3-2 victory over the Seattle Mariners.
Rivera, undoubtedly the best closer of all-time becomes just the second pitcher in MLB history to record 600 saves. Trevor Hoffman holds the MLB record for saves with 601. Mariano could have that record all to himself in less than a week.
