Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ryan Braun took home his first National League MVP award tuesday.
In a season were the Brewers won their first division title in 30 years, Braun had a .332 batting average with 33 home runs, 111 RBI’s, 109 runs, and 33 stolen bases. Braun received 20 of the 32 first place votes and a total of 388 points. He beat out Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Matt Kemp(332 points) and teammate Prince Fielder(229 points) for the award.
