MIA wins 4-1

The Miami Heat are on to the second round after they defeated the New York Knicks 106-94 Wednesday night. LeBron James led the Heat with 29 points, 7 assists, and 8 rebounds. Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers added 19 points. Carmelo Anthony went out fighting scoring 35 points for the Knicks. They Heat will face the Indiana Pacers in round 2.

Grizzlies 92 Clippers 80
LAC 3-2

The Memphis Grizzlies are going back to Cali! The Grizzlies another monumental late collapse and held on for a 92-80 victory to force a game 6 back in LA. The Grizzlies pounded the ball inside early and often. Marc Gasol led the way for the Grizzlies with 23 points and 7 rebounds. Zach Randolph added 19 points and 11 rebounds. Mo Williams was the high point man for the Clippers, scoring 20 points, while Chris Paul scored 19. Paul strained his right hip flexor in the game, and Blake Griffin sprained his left knee. Both should be ready to go for game 6.
