Here we are the NBA’s Final 4 the conference finals are finally here! Here are the KAT Conference Finals predictions.

Western Conference Finals

(1)San Antonio Spurs vs. (2)Oklahoma City Thunder

No surprises here, the Western Conference’s two best teams all season long will lock up for a shot to advance to the NBA Finals.

The Spurs have been dominant this far with a perfect 8-0 record this postseason, while the Thunder aren’t too far behind with an 8-1 record. The quality of teams that the Thunder have beaten have been a lot better than the Spurs and I believe that will benefit them.

For the Thunder to win they have to continue to get stellar play from Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. The Spurs, although a good defensive team have nobody that can disrupt those two studs. James Harden had to be huge off the bench, because the Spurs’ second unit is as deep as it gets. The Thunder’s enforcers down low have to be exactly that and out-muscle the Spurs in the paint and on the boards.

The Spurs seem to be unbeatable. They share the ball and play sound defense. Tony Parker must continue to attack and force Westbrook to play some defense. Tim Duncan has to keep the clock rolling back and try to get Serge Ibaka and Kendrick Perkins into foul trouble. The three-point line has been a friend to the Spurs and if try can continue to knock them down they will be hard to beat.

So who will win? I went back and forth with this but I just feel that the time is now for the Thunder. I think the series will go 7 games but I like the Thunder.
