2012 NBA Playoffs: Durant and Thunder Heading to First NBA Finals

The Oklahoma City Thunder are heading to their first NBA Finals after they rallied to defeat the San Antonio Spurs 107-99 in game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.

The Thunder, who trailed by as many as 18 points went on a furious rally in the third quarter and took control in the fourth. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 34 points and 14 rebounds. Russell Westbrook had a strong game with 25 points, and James Harden added 15 points. Tony Parker scored 29 points, and Tim Duncan finished with 25 points for the losing Spurs.

After trailing 0-2 in the series the Thunder won four straight games to advance to the NBA Finals. The Thunder will now wait to see if they will be playing the Boston Celtics or the Miami Heat in the NBA Finals.
