The Oklahoma City Thunder struck first in the 2012 NBA Finals as they battled back from an early 13-point deficit to defeat the Miami Heat 105-94 in game 1 of the NBA Finals.
Kevin Durant was unstoppable in the fourth quarter once again scoring 17 of his 36 points in the final quarter. Durant also finished with 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Russell Westbrook torched the Heat for 27 points, 8 rebounds, and 11 assists. LeBron James led Miami with 30 points, and Dwyane Wade added 19 points.
The Thunder will look to take a commanding 2-0 series lead on Thursday night in game 2 from Oklahoma City.
