MIA 2-1

The Miami Heat are up 2-1 in the NBA Finals. Sound familiar? Yes, that’s right the same position they were in during last season’s NBA Finals. The Heat pounded out a 91-85 game 3 victory Sunday night to take a 2-1 Finals lead.

Down nine points in the third the Heat went on a furious run to lead by as many as seven points in the fourth. The Heat would once again stave off a late Thunder rally to take game 3. LeBron James led the Heat with 29 points and 14 rebounds. Dwyane Wade had his best game of the series with 25 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists. Kevin Durant scored 25 points for the Thunder, while Russell Westbrook added 19 points in a losing effort.

The Heat will look to come within one win of a championship on Tuesday night in game 4 from Miami.
