As expected, The 2013 BCS National Title game wasn’t even a contest. Alabama proved that they were too big, too strong, too fast, and downright too good for Notre Dame.
Alabama was solid in all phases of the game en route to a 42-14 victory. Eddie Lacy rushed for 140 yards with a touchdown, while T.J. Yeldon rushed for 108 yards and a score. A.J. McCarron threw for 264 yards and 4 touchdowns. Amari Cooper was the leading receiver with 6 catches for 105 yards and 2 touchdowns.
The championship was the second consecutive for Alabama and third in the last four years.
