Beast of the East

The Chicago Bulls proved that they are the beast of the Eastern Conference with a statement victory over the Boston Celtics 97-81.

The Bulls controlled most of the game en route to a blowout win. Derrick Rose abused Rajon Rondo all night in what was an MVP clinching performance. Rose torched Rondo for 30 points, 5 rebounds, and 8 assists. Luol Deng scored 23 points and Carlos Boozer added 14 points. Paul Pierce led the Celtics with 15 points.

The win puts Chicago’s magic number to clinch the East at 1. The Celtics fall back into a tie with the Miami Heat for second place.

With 5 seconds left on the clock the Celtics starters left the bench and headed back to the locker room before the game even ended. What happened to ubuntu? Looks as if it went to Oklahoma City with Kendrick Perkins.
