The Oklahoma City Thunder are one win away from the NBA Finals after they stunned the Spurs in San Antonio to win game five 108-103.
The Thunder who were up most of the game, held on late to win their third straight game and push the Spurs to the brink of elimination. Kevin Durant led the Thunder with 27 points, and Russell Westbrook had 23 points and 12 assists. It was the Sixth Man of the Year James Harden who nailed the big shot late. With the shot clock running down Harden nailed a tough step back three with 28.8 seconds left to put OKC up 106-103. Harden finished with 20 points, 12 of which came in the fourth quarter. Manu Ginobili led the Spurs with 34 points and 7 assists. Ginobili missed a game-tying thee point attempt with 3 seconds remaining.
The Thunder will look to advance to the NBA Finals back at home in game 6 on Wednesday night.
