Morehead State is the tournament’s first darling. The 13 seed Morehead State shocked the 4 seed Louisville 62-61 on Demonte Harper’s game-winning three with 4.2 seconds left. Morehead State now advances to round 3 and Louisville goes home.

There were three more games that were decided in the final seconds. Butler, Temple, and Kentucky survived upsets to advance to round 3.
